The answer to the question of how to get rich fast always comes down to finding suckers for your get rich quick schemes and ripping people off. Can you find suckers for your get rich schemes? Yes, there are always going to be people who are looking for ways to make more money, and they are usually the easiest people to rip off because they are so desperate to make money that they are willing to spend a little money on something that promises they can make a lot of money if they try it. Take Professor James Bradley of Internetmilliondollars.com. He no doubt did get rich fast. With the millions of people out there who are desperate to become millionaires so they can buy million dollar houses and expensive luxury cars, luxury yachts, jets and other millionaire toys, here comes a professor of economics selling the secret for how they can make 100,000 per month every month. Who doesn’t want to make a hundred thousand dollars per month every month? And if a professor of economics is willing to share his secret, why wouldn’t they spend the $50 bucks to find out how they can join Mark Dermont(reportedly earned $1,136,700 in 11 months on Bradley’s program, especially when Dermont makes statments like:
"This book completely changed my life! Only a year ago I worked in a garden shop. I knew that you could make money on the Internet, but I knew no way how to do it. But when I started using Professor Bradley’s method, my financial situation began to improve miraculously. Now money is no problem for me, I bought a great house, cars, and I am more happy than ever before. Thank you, Professor!"
And it isn’t just Mark Dermont claiming James Bradley’s book changed his life. There’s Kate Thomson from Ontario, Canada who allegedly made $1,194,400 in 8 months thanks to James Bradley’s book, and Mark Peters, London, UK who allegedly made $871,000 in 8 months also thanks to James Bradley’s book.
Desperate people see the pretty face of the girl being identified on the internetmilliondollars.com website as Kate Thompson, and the honest face of the guy identified as Mark Peters. They read the statements these two have made praising the book and crediting the book for changing their lives, and they reason, well, it’s only $50 bucks I have to spend. What have I got to lose? A pretty girl like that wouldn’t lie, an Englishman wouldn’t lie…. So they buy the book and James Bradley adds another sucker to his list.
I haven’t read James Bradley’s book. Quite possibly it does contain legitimate ideas and information that might be useful; but James Bradley’s real secret is that, to make money fast, you have to convince people that you have the answer to their problems and get them to pay you money to share it with them. If they are obese, convince them you have the miracle pill that will make them lose weight and keep it off. If they are wrinkling convince them that you have the miracle pill that will remove their wrinkles and give them the skin of a 15 year old at the age of 80. If they are poor, convince them that you know the secret for how they can become rich, that you’ve shared the secret in your book and all they have to do is buy your book and follow your step by step plan.
James Bradley, knowing that people are more skeptical nowadays, a little harder to scam than they used to be, tries to play mind games on them with statements like
"Losers will always be losers. If you tell them about my book, they won’t believe it, thinking that quick money making is impossible. But it was me who made 30 million dollars last year - not them."
And desperate people fall for the tactics as he knew they would. Because he understood all too well the secret for how to get rich fast. Victimize those who are desperate to get rich fast. Prey on their desperation; but do it in such a way that they can’t get you legally charged with being a scam artist. After all you didn’t take their money for nothing. You gave them a book with a step by step guide for how to make $100,000 a month every month as promised.
It can be depressing not having money. But desperation to get rich fast can result in bigger problems than not being able to afford a $2000 lunch. You can lose what little money you do have taking chances on bad investments, and other scams. You can make bad decisions that get you in trouble with the law. You can sink into despair and depression. You can develop serious stress and anxiety problems and impair your health. We all want to get rich fast but, unless we’re willing to become scampretreneurs instead of entrepreneurs, our best option is probably to construct a plan for how to get rich sensibly and honestly and do our best to follow it. Not every one benefits from having a get rich or die trying approach to business. Whether having a get rich or die trying attitude is helpful or harmful to you in business depends a great deal on your personality. Depressive people and people who are anxiety prone might not do well putting that extra pressure on themselves to get rich, because getting rich is by no means an effortless undertaking. If it was easy to become a millionaire, there would be no poor people in the world.
If you suffer with depression and/or anxiety, you should keep in mind that the stress that accompanies entrepreneurship can be more detrimental to you than to the average business person. People with depression lose their motivation easily. People with anxiety find it harder to cope under stressful situations and are more likely to burn out; so, it is in your best interest if you have depression or anxiety that you approach your millionaire goals in such a manner as not to defeat yourself. A get rich or die trying attitude might be more self-defeating when you are someone who can be easily stripped of your motivation when things are not going the way you want them to go. Such a person is more likely to die trying, and at their own hands, than to get rich.
If you are not managing your depression and/or your anxiety with medication it becomes even more vital that you make adjustments in your thinking in order to help you maintain your focus, stay motivated and reduce the stress and the pressure that can prevent you from achieving your goals whether your goal is to make a million dollars, or simply to build a successful small business that allows you to become at least financially stable.
Putting unnecessary pressure on yourself by making your goal to get rich a matter of life and death is likely to result in an exacerbation of your depression and your anxiety, which will in turn cause you to lose your motivation and your interest.
A business man or woman who has no motivation and no interest in their business venture is not one who is very likely to turn their business into a successful enterprise. So reexamine whether a get rich or die trying mentality is likely to work for you. It can work for some people, but not usually for people who tend to get negative easily, or people who are afraid to take risks, which often times people with anxiety issues are [ afraid to take risks].
If depression is a reality in your life you will need to first find ways to manage your depression, because unmanaged depression is a sure way to guarantee that you will not achieve your goal if your goal is to become a millionaire. Making lots of money is an ambition that requires a strong and focused mind that is impervious to the stresses and drawbacks and other negative experiences that often come with the pursuit of million dollar dreams.
