Yesterday Kingston James worked 16 hours and finished his day with 41 cents. The 41 cents came from Google adsense. Kingston has worked for himself for about a year and a half. He has a couple of steady clients he does some writing for. They each pay him a flat monthly fee. He doesn’t earn enough between them to manage to pay his bills. He’s had some luck with a niche dating site that used to make him an extra $500 - $1500 per month. But the site is losing members at a rate of 20 per day for 1-8 new members it gains per day; and most of the paying members have left. The niche dating site is bringing in from $150 - $300 per month at the most nowadays. Kingston admits he didn’t exactly give his best in managing the dating site. He went from answering member emails within hours, to taking days, to taking weeks and now, he doesn’t know the last time he actually checked the customer service email address for his dating site. So the dating site is dwindling with about 700 members left now from over 2000, and Kingston is starting to panic.

Kingston has recently started up a few blogs in the hope of making at least $500 per month from Google adsense; but so far he’s not having too much luck coming close to $500 per month. He’s averaging 18 clicks and $1.32 in earnings per day with adsense.

One thing Kingston has admitted, he notices that he makes more money when he puts a little extra effort into updating his blogs several times per day; and when he gets a little lazy and allows a day or two to pass without updating he makes less.

Money is the creation of the best power within you

In the case of Kingston’s dating site, in the beginning, he gave good service and was rewarded. Once he started to give less than his best, people stopped paying for his service. With google adsense, the harder he works the better his results. When he slacks off, his income slacks off.

When it comes to money, what you have of it will usually be commensurate with the effort you put forth to get it. You won’t usually get lots of money without putting in lots of hard work, lots of time and energy. The richest people in the world work hard to get rich and harder to stay rich. Even people in Entertainment, singers and actors, they can’t slack off if they want to get to the top and they can’t slack off if they want to stay at the top once they get there. If you want people to give you their money you have to give them something that’s worth the money you want them to give you.
